About Me.
Hi, I'm Wen Ya, a fresh Diploma in Information Technology graduate from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a background in both software development and interactive design.
I have a strong interest in frontend and web development, where I enjoy combining technology and design to create responsive, user-friendly, and visually engaging websites. My experience includes working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, UI/UX design, and various backend technologies.
Before studying Information Technology, I completed a Higher Nitec in Interactive Design at ITE, where I developed a foundation in visual design, UI/UX, web design, and digital media. This design background continues to influence the way I approach frontend development today.
During my studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, I completed a one-year Full-Stack Developer internship at Bank of Singapore, gaining practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, API integration, and automated testing in a professional software development environment.
Outside of my studies and internship, I have also worked on real-world design and web development projects. Since 2024, I have been developing and maintaining a live business website for Aesthetic Hermosa, and I have also worked on event design projects, including posters and backdrops for Asian Art Festival 2025.
I enjoy combining my experience in design and development to create practical digital experiences that are both functional and visually engaging.
